What information we process
When you contact us
If you fill in one of the forms on the website, we process the information you give us: your name, email address and — if you choose to fill them in — company, phone number, topic, budget, preferred meeting date and your message. If you use the support form, you can also attach a file.
If you ask for a free design draft, we also process the information you give us about your business and the website you want — such as industry, current website, target audience and wishes for pages, style and colours — and your logo, if you attach it. This information is only used to create the draft and to contact you about it.
If you send your favourites from Adlure Library (library.adlure.dk), we process your name, your email, the demos you chose and — if you fill them in — your company, phone number and message. We only use them to contact you about your new website. Until you send them, your favourites stay in your own browser only, and you can remove them again with one click.
If you email us, we process the content of your email.
When you visit the website
When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and details about your browser. This is necessary to show you the site and to protect it against attacks and misuse.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the website, which pages they read, where they come from (for example a search or a link), what type of device and browser they use, and how quickly the pages load. It is the only script from another provider on the website.
The statistics set no cookies and store nothing on your device. They do not use fingerprinting or any other technique to recognise you from visit to visit or across websites, and we only see totals — never the individual visitor. The information is not used for marketing and is not shared with anyone else.
We do not use cookies or other technologies for tracking or marketing.
Purpose and legal basis
- To answer and follow up on your enquiry, for example by booking a meeting or giving you a quote. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a possible agreement, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
- To run and secure the website, including preventing spam and misuse of the forms. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and well-functioning website, cf. Article 6(1)(f).
- To understand how the website is used, so we can improve the content and keep the pages fast. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website based on anonymous, aggregated statistics, cf. Article 6(1)(f).
Who we share information with
We never sell your information. We use a small number of suppliers (data processors) who process information on our behalf and on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — hosting of the website, protection against attacks, anonymous visitor statistics, and receiving the forms and delivering them to our inbox.
- Our email provider — storing the enquiries we receive.
Some of our suppliers are based in the United States. When information is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, this is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep information
Enquiries are kept for as long as necessary to answer and follow up on them. If your enquiry does not lead to a collaboration, we delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, we keep the information for as long as the collaboration lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law — such as the Danish Bookkeeping Act — requires.
How we protect your information
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The forms are only sent to our own server, where the content is validated and attached files are checked before they are forwarded. The website does not allow code from other domains — the only exception is Cloudflare's statistics script from one specific address — and access keys are never stored in the website's source code.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have a number of rights:
- The right of access to the information we process about you.
- The right to have inaccurate information corrected.
- The right to have your information erased.
- The right to have the processing of your information restricted.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
If you want to exercise your rights, email info@adlure.dk. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with the way we process your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can also contact your local supervisory authority. We would always like the chance to resolve the matter with you first, though.
Changes
We update this policy if we change the way we process information. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
